Analysis of regional development differences in Alborz city using Electre model

The strategic and communication location of Alborz city exposes the area to various currents and forces. Therefore, in order to put the city in the development circuit, it is first necessary to identify the status quo in different aspects of development and identify on the basis of such cognition the extent of inequalities and shortcomings existing and thereby determine the path for future development plans. The area cleared. So in the present study, In order to determine the level of development of Alborz city, the status of urban areas in different physical, technological, managerial, economic, social and environmental aspects were evaluated and ranked using statistical method and Electre model. This research is functional in the case of goal, It was based on a Quantitative -analytical method research and the data of the Statistical Center in 2011 and the documents related to regional development have been used. The results of 57 indices indicate that Karaj has better status in four physical, social, managerial, science and technology dimensions and the best situation for economic and environmental aspects belongs to Mohammadshahr and Asara respectively. The final results of the model indicate that Karaj and Garmdareh cities are in the first place of development and the cities of Kamalshahr and Mahdasht have the middle level of development. Subsequently, the cities of Asara and Mohammad Shahr, with the least development, are in the third position of development level.
