Analysis of Factors Affecting Rural Entrepreneurship DevelopmentCase Study: Villages of Chandar district of Savojbolagh city
In recent years, one of the major problems in our country has been rural backwardness and rural migration to urban areas. The main cause of the economic problems, especially access to employment , have been the many problems such as marginalization, declining quality of life and lack of employment in cities. It is very important to pay attention to rural entrepreneurship with a view to the problems in these areas. This study aimed to analyze entrepreneurship development capacities in rural area of Chendar district of Savojbolagh city of Alborz province. The research method is descriptive-analytical and the method of data collection is library and field. Factor analysis using principal component analysis was used to analyze the data. The statistical population of the study consisted of residents of Chendar villages (literate and aged between 15 and 65). 400 villagers were randomly selected and distributed among them questionnaires containing 5 indices in individual, infrastructure, economic, social and institutional fields and 35 items. The findings show that the status of entrepreneurship components in rural areas is slightly above average. The most appropriate conditions can be seen in the sub-infrastructure and individual dimensions and then in the economic, social and institutional components, respectively. The results of factor analysis show that the individual and infrastructure components of entrepreneurship are provided in the studied villages, but economic, especially social and institutional components are not available.
