Trump's economic record in regional politics From the perspective of realism
The purpose of this paper is to examine economics in Trump's foreign policy from the perspective of realism, which has been done in a descriptive-analytical way. The main question of the research is: What is Trump's foreign policy in the international economy from the perspective of realism? The results show that Trump's foreign policy is based on central interests. Trump does not care about the globalization of the economy, he cancels or amends some trade agreements under the pretext of nationalism. Trump opposes the establishment of a liberal order in the United States and seeks to end it. The global economy does not seem to benefit the United States, and he seeks to fundamentally redefine the national interest of the United States. Trump's protectionist policies are worsening the state of the world economy. With the inauguration of the Trump administration, the direction of American foreign policy has undergone significant changes, from liberal internationalism to a combination of modernism and realism. The most important characteristics of this type of orientation are prioritizing national goals, adopting unilateral policies, opposing the role of legitimate and participatory US leadership, reluctance to globalize the economy, and adherence to US moral commitments and international norms.
