is to investigate the relationship between social and psychological factors by vandalism behaviors ( case study secondary - school students township Babel )

Social researchers believe that the destruction done by youth and students can be a beginning to criminal behavior. Especially with deep view to this issue can be found destruction of public property by students In addition to the educational and cultural sites face difficult social and destroying public and private property and harm to the amenities of the area of security, lack of control and monitoring social - the citizen will be affected. In this research tried to study about reasons and social and factors that affect vandalistic behavior in haigh school students of city of babol. In this study, tried to use Hershey's theory of social control, goud anomi theory of cohan frustration, Alienation Theory and aggression theory. In the part of analyzing the data, all of hypothesizes were tested according to the data kinds in order to determine relation of dependent and independent variables of vandalism include Gender, social disengagement, lack of social control, and to the Alienation. In order to survey hypothesizes, Pierson correlation coefficient and multi variable regression are used. In This method questionnaire was used and its validity has been confirmed. The study population consisted of high school students of City of babol. According to figures reported by office of the education of city of babol, total high school students were 3500 and 346 students were choosed as research sample based on table of Krejcie & Morgan. In this research tried to find out which social factors can affect vandalistic behavior. This study shoed that feelings of frustration and aggression, Alienation and incompatibility of parents are some of effective social factors on vandalistic behavior.
