Lack of Team Mindfulness, Social Undermining and its Impact on Team Conflicts of Faculty Members

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of team members' lack of mindfulness on teamwork on team social undermining, task conflict and relationship conflict between faculty members. The research method of this research is survey and its tool is a five-class Likert scale questionnaire. Structural equation modeling was used to test the research hypotheses using PLS software. The faculty members of Shiraz University participated in various educational departments. The findings of this study indicate that lack of mindfulness of team members affects the managers' social undermining, colleagues' social undermining, task conflict and, ultimately, relationship conflict among team members. Also, the effect of managers' social undermining on task conflict and the effect of colleagues' managers' social undermining on task conflict are also confirmed at 95% confidence level.
