Explanation of land use developments in central part of Rasht city In the last two decades (1997-2017)

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to investigate the land use changes in the central part of Rasht city in the last two decades.The present paper has been developed using documentary and library studies based on Landsat satellite imagery 7 and 8 years 2017, 2010, 2000, as well as census data of the central agricultural sector. The method of doing descriptive-analytical work and according to the results of 6906 hectares of agricultural lands of villages of this section in the last two decades, residential, commercial, service has changed and the main changes related to the expansion of Rasht city and the entry of various urban functions to villages Surrounding and construction in their agricultural lands.These changes are directly related to the geographical location of the village, the distance from the city of Rasht and the type of functioning of the village. Also, the residential use of the study area was 14/15% and the dry land was 1/47%, and the low density of vegetation was 1/55% and the use of arable land with 14/61% decrease in area.
