Functions of information organizations in social action systems
The background of this research is the basic and unique role of information organizations in the sustainability of social life of communities in the form of hidden functions of these organizations. The main function of intelligence agencies is to discover new questions and convey the processed meaning of information to politicians, in other words, there is always an expectation from intelligence agencies to regulate politicians' cognitive processes and be a good cognitive tool in the hands of policy makers to see right around. But intelligence agencies are one of the few organizations that exert influence in various areas of the social action system.The purpose of this study is to identify the functions of intelligence organizations in various areas of social action systems in order to clarify the social and at the same time fundamental and important functions of these organizations.In terms of methodology, this research is of documentary and library type. The required information is referred to books related to intelligence organizations, published research articles, as well as printed texts from the personal reflections of prominent experts in the social action system, collection and descriptive results. An analysis is presented.The findings of this study show that intelligence organizations, unlike other organizations whose function is limited to limited and specific areas; They have a wide range of hidden functions in other areas, especially economic subsystems, political subsystems, social custom subsystems and belief subsystems. They play a prominent role in the system of social action.
