Structural Model of the Mediating Role of Differentiation in the Relationship Between Sexual Satisfaction and General Health in Married Female Teachers
Teachers 'general health is of great importance that has a psychological and social impact on couples' relationships. The aim of this study was to determine the structural model of the mediating role of differentiation in the relationship between sexual satisfaction and general health in married female teachers in Kerman.
The study method is descriptive-correlation. The statistical population of the study was all married female teachers in Kerman who were teaching in schools of Kerman in the academic year 2018-2019. A total of 373 married female teachers were selected by non-random sampling method using the convenience method. Data collection tools included a demographic questionnaire, "Differentiation of Self Inventory", "General Health Questionnaire" and "Index of Sexual Satisfaction". The validity of the instruments was measured using content validity by qualitative method and reliability by internal consistency method by calculating Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Data were analyzed in SPSS. 22 and Amos. 22.
There was a significant correlation between general health and sexual satisfaction with the mediating role of differentiation. The direct correlation of differentiation was significant in estimating general health and sexual satisfaction of teachers (P<0.001). Path analysis findings also showed that differentiation played a mediating role in the relationship between public health and teachers' sexual satisfaction.
There was a positive and significant correlation between general health and sexual satisfaction with the mediating role of differentiation. It is suggested that in counseling centers and psychological services, the necessary training be provided to married female teachers who refer to marital complaints to increase general health and sexual satisfaction.
