A review of the application of virtual reality in the safety management of construction projects (with emphasis on training)

This article provides a comprehensive and critical overview of the literature on virtual reality in construction projects. Transformation industries have evolved, and with the advent of new technologies, the traditional way of doing projects in different phases has moved away. One of these technologies becomes accurate technology used more and more in various stages of the development project cycle, from design to construction. One of the capabilities of this technology is that people can view the details of the construction project virtually before completing it, act as a project identifier at completion, and have an intimate understanding of the final product. In the meantime, the emergence and development of building information modeling in recent years and the placement of threedimensional models for construction projects help develop more and more technologies created in virtual reality. In addition, using cloud and internet spaces for this information and communication technology has made way for people and knowledge sharing smoother.
