Investigating the Components of Mahdavi Training in the Thought of Professor Morteza Motahari
The ideas of the founders of the Islamic Revolution and the relation of this idea with Mahdavi discourse can lead to the facilitation and direction of the Islamic-Iranian model of progress and achievement of completely Islamic governance. This paper has been carried out aiming to investigate the thoughts of Ostad Motahari in the field of Mahdavi education. Considering the fact that we have access to his writings in the form of 108 books, the contexts of the books have been examined qualitatively and the concepts and subject-matters are derived in relation to Mahdavi education. With the reliance on the Ethrid-Sterling method, and in order to discover the network of concepts of Mahdavi education, the concepts have been categorized into 130 main concepts. At the next step, with the expansion of meaning and conceptual relations of the concepts, the network of Mahdavi education concepts is categorized under 9 concepts: cognitive, value, political dimension, transformationalism and reforming conditions, moderation and pacifism, anti-tyranny and justice, behavioral and social aspect, constructive hope and waiting, and moral and spiritual dimension.
Considering his numerous writings and the conceptual depth of each of these derived components, the method of writing of the following paper is that each of these components have been examined separately in terms of its application and the proper methods of their application for their realization in the citizens’ daily life are presented so that a fundamental step can be taken towards the pavement of the ground for the appearance.
