The Effectiveness of Self-sufficiency Education on Improving the Quality of Life, with Emphasiz on the Islamic Component of contentment
Since improving quality of life is one of the most important indicators in health and considering the role of self-efficacy and its related effects on all aspects of life and its relation with quality of life improvement, this study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of self-efficacy education based on Islamic component of contentment. Was performed. The statistical population of this study consisted of all female members of Fatemieh Cultural Institute. In this study, 30 volunteers were selected as the statistical sample and completed the WHO Quality of Life Questionnaire-Questionnaire and then divided into two groups of 15 as experimental and control groups. Controls were assigned. The research design was quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test with control and experimental group. The experimental group was trained in 10 sessions of 90 minutes self-efficacy training and its practical implementation in life and the control group did not receive any training. After completing the training, post-test was performed for both groups and covariance analysis method was used to analyze the data.
The results showed that self-efficacy training made a significant difference in quality of life and all its dimensions at 0.05 level.
