A Meta-Method study of electronic banking researches
The purpose of this paper is to analyze subjects and methodologies used in electronic banking (e-banking) studies in order to pave the way for researches in this area. For this purpose, various scientific databases were searched and finally 94 papers were selected to analyze. As a result, seven major categories were identified as follows: customer behavior measurement, service development, performance improvement, strategy and business model, information technology risk management, marketing management and future studies. The majority of studies were performed in the customer behavior measurement category and the future studies category were neglected. Analysis and critique of methodologies are also presented.
