Abstract:

Russia has had Asymmetric Security Strategy During the past three decades, the Evolution in Russia Security Strategy Seems more than usual. Russians have experienced three different Models of Security Strategy From 1991 until 2021. this article reviews the mentioned models by applying the combined analysis framework of realism theory and SWOT Strategic models. Therefore, research was carried out to answer the following question. How was been the developments of Russia's Security Strategy? We use the strategic document of the Russian Federation to answer the question. The result indicates that Russia's security strategy was defensive in the 1990 decade but after passing the stages in 2000 decades, it became Offensive after 2010. According to the SWOT method, Our findings fall into three categories: First OW Strategy in the 1990s, Second ST strategy in 2000 and third SO Strategy in 2010s. This study used qualitative techniques to analyze.
