Investigating the issue of self-awareness (principles and types) from the perspective of Islamic philosophers and using it in the document of fundamental change in education
The purpose of this study is to investigate the principles and types of self-awareness from the perspective of Islamic philosophers and its application in the document of fundamental transformation of education.The method is a combination (qualitative and quantitative). The qualitative part of the method of conceptual and inferential analysis and qualitative content analysis (inductive), the quantitative part of the method of quantitative content analysis of the fundamental transformation of education (anthropological foundations and goals) was used. The research environment is the qualitative part, the works of Islamic philosophers and the document of the fundamental transformation of education. The sampling method is targeted in the qualitative part and categorical content analysis in the quantitative part. In data analysis, open, axial and selective coding methods were used. Findings of the study indicate that the types of principles include the relationship between soul and body, thinking, evolution and transcendence of the soul, zeal, teleology and types of self-awareness include: physical, emotional, social, spiritual, intellectual. Finally, in the content of the document of fundamental change in education, in the section of anthropological foundations, the most attention has been paid to the intellectual self-awareness and in the goals section, the most attention has been paid to the physical and spiritual self-awareness.
