Relationship between Drug Addiction and Dependent Personality Disorder among Women in Tabriz (Case Study)
This study aims at comparing the dependent personality disorders in healthy women and addicted women to drugs.
For this purpose, among the drug-addicted women residing in the medium-term centers of Tabriz, 80 people were selected by available sample and along with a sample of 80 non-addicted women of the same city who were selected by simple random sampling. They were tested by the revised dependent personality questionnaire (DPI-R).
In order to organize this research, while observing the authenticity of the texts, honestly and fidelity have been observed.
The results of independent T-test showed that the average rate of dependent personality disorder in addicted women is higher than non-addicted group, also Pearson correlation test showed that there is a significant correlation between the two main scales of reliance on each other and the need for relationships in dependent personality disorder.
According to the results obtained in the research findings, it can be concluded that there is a statistically significant difference between addicted and non-drug addicted women in dependent personality disorder (p<0.000).Please cite this article as:Seyyedzade Sani SM, Kavosi Khasraghi P.
