The role of Spiritual Intelligence in the Quality of Life of Veterans' Spouses through Coping Strategies
Therefore, the present study aimed to investigate the role of spiritual intelligence in the quality of life of veterans' wives through coping strategies.
The present study was a descriptive-correlation of structural equations. The statistical population included all the spouses of veterans under the auspices of the Martyrs and Veterans Foundation of Tehran's District Five in the academic year 2020-2021., The coping strategies of Lazarus Folkman (1984) and the quality of life of the World Health Organization (2000) responded. For data analysis, SPSS software version 22 and Amos software were used to analyze the model.
The results showed that spiritual intelligence directly had a positive effect on problem-oriented strategy (p <0.01, β = 0.516) and an effect on emotion-oriented strategy (p <0.01, β = -0.536). It has a negative. Spiritual intelligence has both direct (p <0.01, β = 0.227) and indirectly (p <0.01, β = 0.296) effects on the quality of life through the mediating role of coping strategies. Problem-oriented strategy also directly affects the quality of life (p <0.01, β = 0.361) and emotion-oriented strategy also directly affects the quality of life (p <0.01, β = -0.204) It has a negative effect.
Based on the results, it can be said that by promoting spiritual intelligence and coping strategies, the quality of life of veterans' spouses can be improved.
