Identifying harmful factors in the quality of teaching (a case study of one of the law enforcement Education centers)
The quality of teaching in educational centers is an important issue that has been emphasized a lot in recent years. The purpose of this research is to identify the harmful factors in the quality of teachers' teaching.
The study method in this research is mixed and applied in terms of its purpose, and in terms of the implementation of content analysis in the qualitative part and in the quantitative part, it is a descriptive survey type. The participants in the qualitative part are 15 expert lecturers who Through purposive sampling and in the quantitative part, 275 people were selected through simple random sampling. The tool for data collection was a semi-structured interview in the qualitative part and a researcher-made questionnaire in the quantitative part. The validity of the questionnaire was calculated through convergent validity and divergent validity, and the reliability of the questionnaire was determined using Cronbach's alpha (0.78) and composite reliability. Validity and reliability have been used in the qualitative part according to the method proposed by Lincoln and Kuba. To analyze the data, group and paired t-tests And in the interview part, three stages of open, central and selective coding have been used.
The findings from the analysis of the interviews, which were coded in three stages (open stage, central stage and selective stage), showed that the harmful factors of teachers' teaching quality have 77 indicators, 14 components and 3 dimensions, educational environment, teachers. And it was learners.
Recognizing the harmful environmental and human factors in the quality of teaching can help teachers to conduct effective and quality teaching.
