Identifying the Influencing Factors of Mental Health Based on Physical Activity in Navy Employees
The purpose of the present study is to determine the mental health indicators of seafarers with an emphasis on physical activity. The present study was applied in terms of its purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of the statistical population including all employees of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy, and according to the Morgan table, 384 people were selected as a statistical sample. The tool for collecting the questionnaire was made by the researcher, its validity was obtained using confirmatory factor analysis and the reliability of the questionnaire was 0.89 using the retest method. In order to identify the components, exploratory factor analysis was used with the help of SPSS software, and for inferential analysis, the structural equation method was used with the help of AMOS software. The results showed that "depression", "stress and anxiety", "obsession" and "fear" were recognized as the most important components of mental health, and physical activity also had a positive and significant effect on mental health. It seems that mental health indicators are very important in navy employees who are physically active, if these indicators are low in their existence.
