Comparative study of dual citizenship status and its positive and negative consequences in Iranian, Russian and common law
The present study seeks to investigate the comparative status of dual citizenship and its positive and negative consequences in the laws of Iran, Russia and the Commonwealth. the payment. According to the thematic documents presented in this research, the research method is descriptive-analytical and the method of data collection in this research is documentary-legal analysis. The findings of this study indicate that: First, comparing the legal systems of Iran and Russia, most of the differences are in the view of the laws of these two countries regarding dual citizenship. Russia accepts dual citizenship and constantly updates its legal laws in this regard, while Iran does not accept dual citizenship, but faces a large number of dual nationalities and does not have a suitable legal solution to this issue. Second, the effects of citizenship in Iran due to imposition The citizenship of a man over a woman and the extension of the citizenship of the father to the children is different from the common law, which has accepted the joint citizenship of the couple and the citizenship of the parents.
