Representation of Iran's Position in the World System Based on Development Indicators
This study was conducted to realistically assess Iran's position both at the global level and at the selected countries level based on the latest reports on development indicators. In this regard, 12 international indicators were used, which cover the political, economic, social and environmental fields. The study sources are reputable global websites such as the World Bank, the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, Transparency International, etc., which rank countries based on various development indicators. Findings of the article show that Iran in the human development index has been able to achieve a favorable situation both globally and among selected countries. Iran's situation in environmental performance is favorable at the global level but alarming at the level of selected countries. In the indicators of social progress and crime index, the situation of Iran at the global level is alarming and among the selected countries is critical, and in the indicators of GDP per capita, Legathum Prosperity Index, misery, fragile governments, happiness, perception of corruption, Henley Passport and annual inflation based on the percentage of consumer prices is in a critical state, both at the global level and among the selected countries.
