The Effect of Virtual Education on Academic Performance During Corona Virus Disease (with Moderating Role of Psychological Stress)
This study aims to investigate the effect of virtual education on academic performance of the students during corona virus disease with moderating role of psychological stress. In this applied and descriptive research, 97 people were selected from among 130 graduate students of Imam Khomeini Maritime University who participated virtually in the educational classes (from September 2000 to June 2001) by random sampling method and based on Morgan's table. The data collection tool consists of three questionnaires that were adjusted based on the Likert scale. Data analysis was done through linear regression, path analysis and partial least squares (PLS) method using SPSS software. The results show that virtual education has a positive and significant effect on academic performance, and in addition, the moderating role of psychological stress on the relationship between virtual education and academic performance was also significant, so that with increasing stress, the effect of virtual education on academic performance decreased and with the reduction of stress, the amount of this influence increased.
