A critique of misconceptions about the word student-centered

Student-centered means involving students in the whole teaching and learning process. In other words, in addition to the activity during teaching, this word refers to the activities before teaching, during teaching and after teaching. In many cases, when the word student-centered is used, it refers to an interactive and active teaching method. While the concept of student-centered is beyond a teaching method in which students are actively involved in teaching. In student-centered strategy, the teacher prepares a draft lesson plan and asks students to comment on the specified sections and finally approve and act on it by collective agreement. In many universities, the word student-centered is used incorrectly, or even some professors are not fully familiar with how to design a course plan. This article aimed to clarify the term student-centered by familiarizing with how to write a lesson plan and determine the boundaries of student interventions in the curriculum
