Reading the stimuli affecting the future growth and development of the first generation of new cities in Iran (Case study: New Campus City)

The new cities of the country face many economic, social, managerial and environmental challenges that the future of urban development has exposed them to unbalanced and unbalanced conditions. But in the meantime, in order to have a proper understanding of the forces influencing the growth and development of new cities, the need to identify the key drivers affecting this relationship has become even more necessary. In this regard, this article has tried to identify and cluster the stimuli affecting the future growth and development of the new campus city through structural analysis. Theoretical data were prepared by documentary method and experimental data by survey method based on Delphi technique. Statistical population of 20 experts and experts based on snowball sampling and development stimuli, 54 motivating forces in 5 main dimensions (economic, socio-cultural, managerial-institutional, physical, communication and environmental) by interaction analysis method The structure is processed in MICMAC software. Findings in terms of interaction analysis indicate the dispersion of driving forces in a complex and intermediate state of effectiveness and effectiveness; The stimulus clustering system indicates that they are concentrated in the area of ​​independent stimuli. Among the 54 factors of growth and development, drivers of convergence in integrated city management, benefiting from citizen participation in decision-making and decision-making, attracting private sector investors, reviving local and neighborhood relations, exploiting Experts in the management of new cities, promoting urban safety and security, urban intelligence using IT and ICT, strengthening spatial identity and culture, attracting innovative and creative class, location marketing and urban branding, offering affordable housing for different groups Improving the service capacity of the city and strengthening the safe, cheap and fast intra- and inter-city transportation network were identified as key drivers of the future growth and development of the new campus city. These forces are input and stable in terms of system performance, which has a high impact role and low effectiveness. As a result, it controls the state of the system and its changes, and that the growth and development of the new campus city depends on their performance.
