Investigating the relationship between romantic styles and sexual attitudes with the tendency towards extramarital relationships in married female studentsof Golestan Islamic Azad University in 2020
The diversity of human beings makes each person have their own style of love. Love and all its emotional dimensions are strongly related to personality traits and gender differences. The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between romantic behavior styles and the tendency to extramarital relationships and also to investigate the relationship between sexual attitudes and the tendency to extramarital relationships in married female students of the Islamic Azad University of Golestan province in 2020.
This is a descriptive-correlation study. In 2020, 335 married female student of Golestan Azad University were selected by convenience sampling. Three tools were used to collect information: romantic behavioral style, sexual attitude and extramarital affairs. Pearson correlation coefficient and multivariate regression were used to test the research hypotheses.
The analysis of the findings indicates a positive and significant relationship between "romantic behavioral styles" and "extramarital affairs" (r = 0.87, sig = 0.004) and its severity is about 75%. There is also a positive and significant relationship between "sexual attitude" and "extramarital affairs". (R = 0.83, sig = 0.016) and its intensity is about 68%. Data were analyzed in SPSS version 20. The significance level of the tests was considered 0.05.
The analysis of the findings indicates a positive and significant relationship between "romantic behavioral styles" and "sexual attitude" with "extramarital affairs" in married female students of Golestan Islamic Azad University.
