Ethnic cohesion in Sistan and Baluchistan province and its relationship with political participation in the 2021 Iranian presidential elections

The purpose of the present study is to study ethnic cohesion in Sistan and Baluchistan province and its relationship with political participation in the 2021 Iranian presidential elections. The research method was descriptive-analytical, and the results showed that although there is a good relationship between the province's youth cohesion and political participation in the 2021 presidential elections, this relationship is moderate and other interventional variables have an effective relationship with this partnership. Due to the positive relationship between the two variables and the increase in ethnic cohesion in the province, the level of political participation can be increased to some extent. In other words, strengthening the sense of belonging to the ethnicity, facilitating and strengthening interpersonal communication in society, increasing family solidarity, and strengthening their supervision over children can partially increase the level of political participation (A willingness to political participation, support for political activities and carry out political activities) in the presidential election in Iran.
