Investigating the relationship between moral intelligence and organizational wisdom with the professional growth of elementary teachers in Behbahan city
The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between moral intelligence and organizational wisdom with the professional growth of elementary school teachers in Behbahan city. The research method is applied in terms of purpose and correlational in terms of nature and method, and its statistical population consists of all elementary teachers in Behbahan city in the academic year of 2019.
From this number, the statistical sample is equal to 230 people based on the table of Morgan and Gerjesi and randomly classified. To collect data, Calshon's moral intelligence questionnaire (2006), Bravin and Green's organizational wisdom (2006) and Akfilt and Kott's professional growth (2005) were used. The content validity of all three questionnaires was confirmed by professors and experts in educational sciences, and their reliability was calculated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient method for moral intelligence, organizational wisdom and professional growth questionnaires, respectively equal to (0.87), (0.84) and(90).Data analysis was done through multiple statistical methods and Pearson's correlation coefficient with the help of SPSS 24 software. The results showed that there is a direct and meaningful relationship between moral intelligence and its components and organizational wisdom and its components with teachers' professional growth. Also, the regression results showed that moral intelligence and organizational wisdom predict and explain more than 67% and 30% of the changes related to teachers' professional growth, respectively. It is suggested to strengthen the professional growth and moral intelligence and organizational skills of teachers through knowledge-enhancing workshops.
