Quranic stories as the content of religious education in elementary school in the content approach of the program (p4c)

Abstract:
The aim of the current research was to analyze the content of Quranic stories as teaching-learning content of religious education and training at the primary level. For this purpose, with the method of qualitative content analysis, in the first step, the criticisms of the methods based on memory cultivation in education were raised, and then the approaches proposed in the thinking training programs and religious education methods for children were raised. The existing approaches of teaching thinking, the content approach in which the reflective content is of high importance, were presented and in accordance with the current approach, philosophical themes (ontological, epistemological and value-oriented) were introduced and it was shown which philosophical field or fields the Qur'anic stories belong to. and how it can be used in the religious education program of elementary school. The results showed that the rewriting and simplification of these stories based on the content approach due to the cultural relevance for the children of Islamic Iran while providing a context for reflection and thinking for the children in a class that has turned into a research community, the goals of religious education regarding theology, cosmology and It facilitates anthropology and moral issues in a more appropriate way.
