Identifying the causes of fatigue and boredom in student-teachers during E-learning

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the causes of fatigue and boredom during the E-learning in student- teachers in 2020-2021 academic year. This study was conducted via qualitative approach using thematic analysis. Participants were 25 student- teachers at Farhangian University who were selected by criterion sampling method to theoretical saturation boundary. Participants were subjected to semi-structured interviews based on one main question. Transcribed interviews were analyzed according 3 steps. Lincoln and Guba criteria were also used to determine the reliability of the research. Findings revealed that there were 2 inclusive themes, 5 organizing themes and 14 basic themes. Again, the results show that all of the participants experienced a feeling of fatigue and boredom during the E-learning to a large extent. So, some changes need to be made in Farhangian Curricula, according to content, time, teaching and evaluation methods, for having an effective E-learning in Farhangian University,
