Analysis of Iran's legal and judicial criminal policy regarding crimes affected by the media
The media can be the best means for enlightening the minds and unifying the desired thoughts and opinions, but in contrast to the direct reflection of some crimes and various methods of violence, the other side of the issue is that sometimes it is effective in the occurrence of crimes and the short-term and long-term results It will have an irreparable period, however, in this article, the authors seek to analyze and criticize the approach of Iran's legal and judicial criminal policy towards crimes affected by the media.
The current research was done by analytical and descriptive method.
New criminological theories and trends based on crimes affected by the media include Newsmaking Criminology , cultural criminology and visual criminology And Based on the findings of the research, if the content of the media is regulated without expert analysis of the causes of crimes and teaching practical solutions to prevent them, it will have many negative effects on the criminal policy, especially in the legislative and judicial dimensions.
The media is not only effective in shaping crimes, but it is also effective in creating legal changes and influencing legislative criminal policy and passing emergency laws and a populist approach. Therefore, the media has infiltrated the judicial criminal policy and with media exaggeration in the cases of sexual crimes, violent crimes against individuals and economic crimes, they have led to haste in the proceedings, non-compliance with due process and promotion of violence in the society.
