Analyzing the arguments of Imamiyyah jurists in political interaction with the communities
In Shia political thought, which is derived from the theological foundations of this religion, government is the sole right of God, and he is the one who chooses a righteous person to lead the people and in the age of occultation; Shia political program belongs to the teaching and guidance of imams to the general and comprehensive Nawab of Imam Masoom. Therefore, the governments that are not installed and authorized by the Imams of the Infallibles, peace be upon them, lack the necessary legitimacy to rule, and their rule is usurping and arbitrary. However, since the existence of the government is necessary for the society and in the event that it is not possible to form a government by the jurist of the Islamic community, sometimes to protect the interests of the Islamic society and based on documentation from the verses of the Qur'an, traditions, rational and narrative evidence, and the rules of necessity, expediency and piety. , and... it is necessary for scholars to interact and cooperate with the government in some cases. On the other hand, the elders, citing the evidence of the sanctity of helping the oppressors, considered any cooperation with the tyrannical government as forbidden. The present article seeks to examine the most important reasons and bases of the decree of cooperation with the rulers and to explain the opinions and viewpoints of both sides for and against the issue of the cooperation of Imamiyya jurists in the era of the absence of Imam Zaman (A.S.).
