Abstract:

This study was carried out to investigate the effectiveness of teaching emotion regulation strategies online on the academic motivation of high school students during the coronavirus period. The research method was Quasi-experimental. The study statistical population was all High school students of Ahvaz city in 2022. The sample consisted of 30 people who were divided into two experimental and control groups using random sampling method. The research instrument was Academic motivation scale (Wallerand et al., 1989(. The obtained information was analyzed using analysis of covariance. The research results showed that teaching emotion regulation strategies online on the academic motivation of High school students (p<0/05). Therefore, It is suggested to pay more attention to the teaching of emotion regulation strategies online during education for students in the conditions of the crisis of the coronavirus pandemic.Keywords: emotion regulation strategies, academic motivation, students, Online, coronavirus.
