The Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence with the Quality of Work Life of Physical Education Teachers
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence with the quality of work life of physical education teachers in Mamasani city.
This research was applied in terms of purpose, as well as descriptive correlation in terms of nature and method. The statistical population in this study was all 140 physical education teachers in Mamasani city, and 135 people were tested by total sampling method. In this study, standard questionnaires of spiritual intelligence of Ali Badie et al. (2010), emotional intelligence of Bradbury and Graves (2005) and quality of work life of Richard Walton (2012) were used. Pearson correlation test, regression analysis and SPSS software were used to answer the research questions.
The results of Pearson correlation test showed that emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence had a significant relationship with the quality of teachers' work life and also the results of regression analysis test showed that the dimensions of emotional intelligence (self-awareness and social awareness) and dimensions of spiritual intelligence (general thinking and belief dimension, ability of dealing with and interacting with problems and self-awareness, love and interest) have the power to predict the quality of work life of teachers.
