Identifying the key factors affecting sustainable development of rural-urban conurbations with Futures studies technique (Case study: Fahraj conurbation)

this research in terms of objective is applied and in terms of method is combination of quantitative and qualitative methods and in terms of nature is descriptive - analytical and based on future research methods , analytical and exploratory. Delphi technique and interaction matrix were used to identify the influential factors, and then the structural analysis method was used to investigate effectiveness and the effects in order to identify the key factors. Therefore, after holding initial discussion sessions with seventeen experts in the realm of ​​regional planning from the state of Fahraj, the statistical population of the research was selected using the snowball sampling method and, as a result in a targeted manner, 49 factors were identified in 14 global dimensions. According to the high score of direct and indirect influence, 16 key factors are determined as influential in the sustainable development of Fahraj. Access to the Internet, the condition of villages in terms of the strengthening of rural lands, access to rural gardens, access to public services, access to medical facilities and health services, access to village assistance, increasing trust, confidence and empathy between people and officials, social security of the place of residence, tourism development, the existence of infrastructure facilities, the size of the population, the appropriateness of the income and expenses of the villagers, employment in the village, private sector investment, household density in the residential unit are the factors influencing the future sustainable development of Fahraj conurbation.
