Identifying the challenges of the Greater Tehran Traffic Police in the earthquake

The transportation network is one of the main factors in controlling and controlling crises and is the basis for carrying out the missions of the police force, including the traffic police and other relief agencies. There are challenges and obstacles that can affect the role of traffic police in crises. Special and practical attention to identifying the challenges of Greater Tehran traffic police in the earthquake is very important to increase the efficiency of this network.

This research is applied in terms of purpose, exploratory in terms of nature and method, and qualitative in terms of data type. From the snowball method to the theoretical saturation, sampling was done. In this regard, 26 experts and law enforcement officials, Rahvar, Housing and Urban Development Research Center, Crisis Management Headquarters and the National Rescue Organization who have the knowledge and experience They had direct and indirect crisis management, including earthquakes, in the last 5 years and were serving in Tehran. They were selected for a statistical sample. Unstructured interview method was used to collect data and information. The obtained data were analyzed in two forms: descriptive and inferential (manual method of coding data in three steps and identifying dimensions and components).
