A comparative study of demographic policy-making of educational indicators in the education system of Iran and Singapore

Education is one of the determining components in the field of national power, economic development and social welfare. Therefore, it is necessary for educational planners and policy makers, teachers and education officials to know the requirements and requirements of tomorrow's life in order to be able to cultivate the knowledge and insight needed in children and adolescents to work in tomorrow's society. In line with this policy, identifying the characteristics of efficient and effective education is of particular importance. Therefore, some societies try to improve their progress by following the example of successful educational programs in other countries. The aim of this study is a comparative demographic study of educational indicators in the education system of Iran and Singapore by descriptive-analytical method. By preparing a questionnaire and distributing it among the educational elites of Iran and Singapore, the status of each of the educational indicators and sub-indicators from the perspective of the educational elites of the two countries has been studied using t-test and chi-square. In terms of prioritization of sub-indicators, the sub-indicator of students' performance in international exams in Singapore and the sub-indicator of graduation rate of primary school students in Iran have the highest rank in terms of educational elites.
