Identify the strategies of improve the quality of service in the police
The purpose of this article is to present strategies to improve the quality of service in the police as a government agency. The lack of a theoretical framework in this area has led the researchers to identify strategies to improve the quality of the police through the analysis of the topic.
The present study is an applied research method and is a survey in terms of research method. In order to analyze, quantitative and qualitative methods were used.
First, using semi-structured interviews with 28 members of the police community, experts identified the quality of service promotion strategies. Then, using the theme analysis technique, eight main themes were identified. In order to investigate the current status of each strategy, a researcher-made questionnaire was designed based on the findings of the interview and distributed in the statistical society including 412 citizens from the 6th district of Tehran. To prioritize strategies, another questionnaire was designed and again given to the community of experts.
After analyzing and analyzing the findings of the theme analysis and the experts' questionnaire, after the strategies, quality promotion was prioritized, respectively: the most important dimensions from the perspective of experts; responsibility, timely delivery and empathy. Was. The results of the second questionnaire (citizens) showed that 25 strategies out of 40 strategies are in a good and desirable situation and for the other 15 strategies should be taken. It was also found that in the eyes of citizens, the dimensions of guarantee, timely delivery and accountability have the highest score in the current situation.
