Abstract:

Every year, billions of rials are spent on the return of urban slum dwellers to the original villages, or efforts are made to prevent more villagers from migrating to the city. Most of the research that has been done in this regard has focused on the financial and supportive dimensions. Due to the ineffectiveness of these solutions, it was necessary to conduct more comprehensive research in this field. The present study was conducted by descriptive and correlational methods to determine a model for determining the share of each individual, social and economic factors in the frequency of occurrence from the perspective of immigrants and prioritizing these factors from the perspective of experts. The required data were collected with a questionnaire and from a sample of 300 immigrants in Mashhad and 30 experts in this field. Cronbach's alpha was used to measure the questionnaire, KMO index was used to determine the adequacy of the sample size, EFA test was used to identify the factor structure and factor factors, and the model of multiple indices and multiple causes was used to determine the relationships between variables. To evaluate the model, the calculation of fit indices such as RMSEA, TLI, CFI and Chi-square were used. The results showed that among the predictor variables, only the variable related to social institutions can affect the perspective of immigrants. For this reason, this variable was significantly related to the hidden variables in general, which was more related to the two hidden variables. However, all four fit indices were less than the desired value and thus the fit of the model was not confirmed. However, it was found that the return was mainly to the non-native villages and the family dimension, especially under the criterion of "observing the behavior of homosexuals" has the highest impact on the return of marginalized people. This finding is largely consistent with the theories of Veblen, Giddens, and System. According to the findings of this study, if the population returns and the economic and social conditions of this group are properly informed to other marginalized, the return process will accelerate.
