Landslide risk zoning using fuzzy inference system in Izeh river basin
Slope stability study and determine the relative risk is essential even though the development of cities, villages, regions and industrial estates, roads and so on. Izeh river Basin in the Northeast of Khuzestan province has different type of slope instability. Control and prevention of risks will be achieved if that we can Evaluation of the unstable situation in the region, its Zonation, identifying of displacement and Mechanism of this movements. In this Thesis Landslide hazard zonation has been done based on Fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) with Arc GIS Software in the Dehsheykh and Izeh Basins. It makes use of nine causal landslide factors identified by local landslide experts in Dehsheykh and Izeh Basins that included Slope, Aspect, Stream, Fault, Precipitation, Road, Drainage Density, Lithology and Landuse. In order to Landslide susceptibility mapping, Criteria Weight identified by using FAHP. Fuzzy set theory was integrated with AHP in Arc GIS in order to use pairwise comparisons to compare Landslide susceptibility mapping criteria for ranking purposes. Finally, Landslide susceptibility map was prepared in Dehsheykh and Izeh Basins. This study showed that criteria Slope, Lithology and Distance to Stream & Road are as the most influential factors affecting the landslide in area of Izeh River. According to the results of zoning conformity with landslides occurred and the cost of the study, Remote sensing studies can be used in future planning in this area.
