Investigating the Functions of Endowment in the Quran and Hadiths and its Role on Welfare and Social Health

The tradition of good endowment is one of the clear examples of benevolence and altruism, which man has established since long ago by taking advantage of the teachings of the prophets and deposited it in the scene of social life. The spirit of health and social cooperation and excelling in charity is objectified in the institution of Waqf, and it gives an eternal stamp to the act of the Waqf. In Waqf, the two dimensions of self-love and altruism come to the fore. One of the arts of Islam, in order to penetrate its words more in people, is to use human self-love (Hab al-Nafs), which is addressed to human beings in various verses, and in Waqf, it uses the dimension of human self-love and considers membership in this institution as a way. in which the name of a person and the ownership of his property and assets are guaranteed forever and the income is used in the cases he considers. Islam has examined all the needs of the society and its surroundings in a basic and fundamental way and has provided their solution, which guarantees the spread of justice and equality. Among the good traditions that the religion of Islam has presented in order to compensate for the shortcomings, deprivations, remove the aura of despair, eliminate discrimination, remove the gross class gaps and most importantly, establish a balanced military based on justice and fairness in the society. Waqf" On the other hand, the desire for immortality lies in human nature as a God-given form, and man has always tried to live eternally and become a good man. One of the things that can partially answer this inner human desire. A lasting memory and eternal charity is like waqf, and definitely waqf has its roots in the distant past and in ancient civilizations. Endowment is the institutionalization of altruism and one of the great relics of divine prophets, which is also very important in Islamic law. With the formation of endowment departments and organizations, this institution has come under the control of law and government with various goals, including expediency about endowments.
