Investigating the impact of organizational commitment on financial performance with the mediating role of social responsibility in the University of Medical Sciences and Health Services of Central Province
If the employees and managers are committed, the social responsibility of the University of Medical Sciences and health and treatment services can be improved to generate income. Therefore, investigating and scrutinizing the factors affecting the income of the University of Medical Sciences and healthcare services is very important in making detailed management decisions. Therefore, the main purpose of the research is to investigate the effect of organizational commitment on financial performance with the mediating role of social responsibility in the University of Medical Sciences and Health Services of Central Province.
The nature and method of the research was causal and applied in terms of purpose. The statistical population of this research is 243 middle and high level employees of the University of Medical Sciences and Health Services of the Central Province. The data collection method is field research. A questionnaire was used to collect data. In this research, a standard questionnaire was used and it was approved by the supervisor and consultant, hence the validity of the research questionnaires was confirmed. The reliability of the questionnaires was confirmed as (0.766). Structural equations and Lisrel software were used to test research hypotheses.
The research findings indicate that organizational commitment has a positive effect on financial performance with the mediating role of social responsibility. Organizational commitment has a positive effect on financial performance. Organizational commitment has a positive effect on social responsibility. Social responsibility has a positive effect on financial performance.
More committed people adhere to the values and goals of the organization and will play a more active role in the organization and will help the organization to achieve its financial goals and hence improve financial performance. Care and commitment to protecting the rights of employees leads to them also working for organizational goals, including financial goals, and hence improving financial performance.
