Identifying critical drivers of the future spatial development of Aras Free Zone with a futures research approach

Today, free zones are one of the tools of governments to realize the extroverted strategy in the paradigm of globalization, based on the political economy of space and one of the main focal points of the presence of investors. Since the formation of free zones and in this in Aras Free Zone, land is the most important factor among other factors of production and trade. And what is needed after several decades of the formation of free zones is to change the approach to planning in these areas will eventually lead to healing the problems of these areas.Meanwhile, in the present study, with a futuristic approach to identify the most important factors and examine the extent and how these factors affect each other and the future status of spatial development of the approved area of Aras Free Zone, including Julfa city and approved areas subject to legal materials.
