The relationship between modernization in geographical-cultural factors with managing the lifestyle of the residents of Bijar city, Kurdistan province

One of the effects of modernization is the transformation in the production and reproduction of lifestyle. Young people in any society are pioneers in welcoming cultural changes and are a part of the society that show the talent of cultural break and non-recreation of traditional ways of life. The lifestyle of parents and children in Kurdistan province has been fulfilled. The theories of Lerner, McClelland, Smith and Inkels, Sharma and Turner have been used in this research. The research method is causal-comparative. The statistical population includes unemployed parents and children, (children who live with their parents), of course, parents in the age range of 40 to 60 years and children in the age range of 15 to 30 years have been studied. A multi-stage cluster random sampling method was used to select the studied samples. The number of samples was estimated to be equal to 768 people. The data was collected from the questionnaire made by the researcher. Validity and reliability of the measurement tool were confirmed. The data was tested using spss software and two-way analysis of variance. The results showed that the dimensions of empathy, desire and need for progress, mass media, egalitarian, independence-seeking, and scientific orientation have had an impact on the lifestyle management of parents and children in Kurdistan province.
