Analyzing the role of tourism in sustainable rural development (Case of study: Mahmoodabad village, Khodabande city, Zanjan province)
Today, the sustainable development of tourism is considered as an engine of development and a factor to improve the quality of life of developing societies. Rural tourism is a form of economic activity that is carried out around cities and places with a rural shape and texture, and it has positive and negative effects for the village, man and nature. This study, which has been carried out with a library method, has investigated the potentials and attractions (tourism) of Mahmoud Abad village in Khodabande city and its effects on sustainable rural development.tourism in the local economy, as well as in creating employment, income, familiarity with culture and customs, as well as environmental protection in the economic, social, cultural and environmental fields of Mahmoudabad village, as well as the weakness Instability in management, weak advertising and incoordination of organizations, unfamiliarity with tourism activities and the occurrence of recent droughts are the main reasons for the lack of development and limitations of Mahmoud Abad village in terms of tourism compared to other places.
