The Role of Mass Media in Advancing the Activities of Law Enforcement Officers

Without a doubt, media has been one of the most challenging phenomena affecting social change throughout history. The main aim of this study is investigating the role of mass media in advancing the activities of law enforcement officers. The research method in this study is descriptive and the information has been collected from library. Considering the special importance of NAJA in order to establish order and security in the country, on the one hand, and the important role of the mass media, in particular, in broadcasting and television, in shaping public opinion and its impact on society, through enhancing the cooperation between media and police should try to increase security and reduce the crime in society. The presence and active presence of police in public opinion management has to be re-emphasized and, as far as possible, away from the passivity position in confronting the upcoming events. But since self-esteem in this field is not superior, it is recommended that the decision-making centers in the police complex of the country, using media professionals, especially those familiar with the media of the university, share experiences New in the field of public opinion management, as well as by forming common thinkers, has provided a platform for transferring the knowledge of this part of the country’s educational system to the core of the police administration.
