The Role of Health and Health System in National Security and Sustainable DevelopmentFirst part: General aspects

Security, like health, is one of the divine blessings of God. Security is one of the supreme achievements of the holy defense of the noble Iranian nation. These two heavenly duties are necessary to each other and are the pillars of national sustainable development. The purpose of this study was to explore the interactive and synergistic relationship between “the health and Security” and to draw the optimum paradigm in national sustainable development.

This study was conducted through library and oral history interviewing. Strategies and practices guaranteeing security and health in the community, and synergistic approaches between them, was studied.

Health and security are the most valuable delightful blessings and essentials of human life. Establishing and maintain of security is cardinal to healthy and acceptable life in the society. In order to achieving sustainability in the areas of health and security, “the Resilience Health System model” has been introduced and proposed in this study.

Islamic culture and instructions and achievements the Holy defense has been introduced.
