Identifying the factors affecting the criminal personality of violent criminals with a criminalization approach

Abstract Personality trait has a deep relationship with committing a crime. Violent criminals have personality traits that make up their criminal personality. One of the important and influential factors in the criminalization process is recognizing the effective factors on the personality of criminals, which is effective in forming the criminal personality of violent criminals. In terms of practical purpose, in terms of data collection, it is descriptive-survey. The statistical population of this study was 81 managers and agents in the fight against violent criminals within the NAJA organization who were selected in full. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire, which to determine its validity, the questionnaire was provided to experts and professors of research methods. In the analysis, confirmatory factor analysis tests and structural equations and LISREL software were used.Findings and Factors affecting the criminal personality of violent criminals were identified in four factors: extraversion, incompatibility, neuroticism and psychosis, which have a significant relationship with violent crimes. The results of the research indicate that the factors affecting the criminal personality of violent criminals as a scientific and systematic method with the aim of detecting crime, identifying violent criminals, proving crime, reducing the incidence of violent crimes and ultimately guiding the process of investigation and interrogation of violent criminals Be tailored to their personality traits.
