The effectiveness of hypnosis training on psychological skills and sports performance
Hypnosis is one of the methods of mental energy generation, which is widely used in improving the performance of athletes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of hypnosis training on increasing psychological skills and sports performance.
The method of the present study was of an experimental type using a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. In this research, 40 judo sports champions from the statistical population were randomly considered as a statistical sample. 20 people were in the experimental group and 20 people were in the control group. The Ottawa mental readiness test and the sports performance checklist made by the researcher were used, and the reliability and validity of this scale was confirmed by the coaches of the national judo team and experts and senior experts in this field. In this research, using SPSS software and By means of two-variable analysis of variance statistical tests, research hypotheses were examined.
All the obtained research results were tested at the significance level of 05/05 and confirmed the correctness of the following results 1) Hypnosis training had a positive and significant effect on improving the sports performance of judokas. 2) Hypnosis training had a positive and significant effect on improving the psychological skills of judokas.
hypnosis in training classes and its use in scheduling classes as well as its use at higher levels can be a suitable tool for people's progress and a great help for trainers.
