Sociological Explanation of Youth Identification through the Eight-Year War of Sacred Defense (Case Study: Rasht Youth)
The imposed war is intertwined with the history, geography and socio-political structures of Iran. On the other hand, the main slogans of the political system have been formulated based on the teachings and values derived from this event in the last thirty years. The present study uses hybrid theories of identity while describing the identity of young people through the eight-year war of the Holy Defense to explain its relationship with ethnic, national, religious and political identity. Research data were collected by a questionnaire by random cluster sampling (sample size 384 people). The statistical population is youth (age group 18 to 29 years) in Rasht. According to the research findings Identification through the Eight-Year War Holy Defense has a significant and direct relationship with national, religious, ethnic and political identity, and the use of communication media has the opposite effect on the identity of young people through the Eight-Year War. Sacred Defense Religious identification also has the greatest impact on the identification of young people through the Eight-Year War of Sacred Defense
