The effect of the Challenges of Neighborhood Relations between Islamic Republic of Iran and the United Arab Emirates on border security in Persian Gulf region (the Post - Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action(JCPA) period)

The main purpose of this research is answer to this important question that what have been the main challenges in the foreign relations between Iran and the UAE in the post JCPOA period? And what effect do these challenges have on Iran's border security and territorial integrity?The findings of the research indicate that the beginning of negotiations and friendly relations between Iran and the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf region and efforts to restore relations between the countries of this region, especially the UAE, the issue of the three islands, the economic sanctions of the USA against Iran, the outbreak of the Yemen war,the Syrian crisis, the official relations of the UAE with Zionist regime have a significant effect on creating challenges in the relations between the two countries have been such that despite Iran's efforts to build trust and improve its relations with Arab countries, with the divisive actions of the Zionist regime and the USA these relations have moved towards divergence, in such a way that the political-security factors with the assertion of sovereignty over the three islands by the UAE and the support of major powers including the USA and the recent support of Russia to the statement of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council in July 2023 that it introduced the UAE as the rightful ruler of these islands as the most important challenges in the foreign relations between Iran and the UAE in the post JCPOA period, this is considered a serious threat to the territorial integrity of Iran and will become a ground for insecurity and border tention not only in the Persian Gulf region. Which necessitates maintaining Iran's stable border security by strengthening and cultivating efficient Iranian forces such as Naja border guards in sensitive border areas of Iran mentioned as an example.
