Factors affecting the design of educational space based on the constructivist approach

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting the design of educational space based on the constructivist approach. The research method is mixed (qualitative-quantitative). In order to conduct this research, in addition to the documentary study, the content analysis technique with MAXQDA12 software was used to identify indicators related to the design of educational space based on the constructivist approach of the identified dimensions. The statistical population in this study was all experts in the field of educational management and educational technology, research in education and educational psychology, which was done after 11 theoretical saturation interviews. Validity was obtained through 4 experts and by two colleagues and reliability of the Copa formula (0.68). To present the researcher-made questionnaire model, all indicators were distributed among 382 junior high school students and finally, using the structural equation technique, all indicators were approved. The educational dimension with a coefficient of 0.648 has the most impact and importance in the model and the non-educational dimension with a coefficient. 0.448 has less impact. Also among the components are educational scheduling with share (0.841), educational evaluation method (0.812), educational staff (0.801), teacher (0.777), social, cultural and artistic services (0.575), evaluation method (0.542), Educational space (0.473), International education services (0.473), Social, cultural and artistic services (0.774), Educational methods (0773), Educational tools (0.716), Educational content (0.712) and Physical educational space (0.625) The components in designing an educational space are based on constructivist learning.
